Synopsis:
War is the worst thing that could happen in the life of every person, but for a child it is a tragedy at all. The pain of losing the closest people and trying to survive in a bloody dispute between adults is what remains with a small person for his whole life. Three of kids get into a chaos of war. All three lost their parents, one of them is a teenage girl, didn't abandon the kids in trouble, she attempts to rescue them. The difficult and dangerous roads of war are going kids with their young teacher. There is only one hope of salvation for three. And one toy - a battered hare, who sometimes sees things that children's eyes shouldn't see.

She was born on April 22, 1976 in Minsk. In 2001, she graduated from the Belarusian State University of Culture (screenwriter). Since then, she worked at the National Film Studio «Belarusfilm» as a leading editor of the Belarusfilm film studio. Between 2015 and 2018, she was the leading editor of animated films studio at the National Film Studio «Belarusfilm». «Toy» - is the first director's work of Rita Shagray.
