Pipo and Blind Love

SYNOPSIS:

As he leaves the factory, Pipo, a young mute worker, falls under the spell of a young woman sitting on a bench. In a dehumanized world where emotions are controlled by a gauge, he will do everything to seduce her with his own language.

Director's Bio:

Hugo Le Gourrierec was born in Chambéry in French Alps. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Production from the European Cinema and Audiovisual Institute in Nancy. He discovered the trades of cinema, from facilities to the assistant camera through lighting, then specialized in assistant director departement. He has worked on around twenty films, including those by Pawel Pawlikowski, Maïwenn, Ridley Scott, Philippe Claudel, Olivier Assayas, Houda Benyamina, Yvan Attal and others. Always surrounded by the melancholy universes that inspire, Hugo works on the writing of his first feature film, defined as a poetic and macabre tale of dystopia.
