In an attempt to assist and rescue refugees arriving on the island of Lesbos in 2015, Mo Abassi winds up being arrested and accused of human trafficking. Through numerous meetings with his defense attorney, Knud Foldschack, Mo is forced to account for every step and action made by him and his team of volunteers. As we witness the actual events leading up to the arrest, Mo’s attorney becomes increasingly worried regarding critical but unaccountable pieces of evidence.
Director Biography - Martin B. Gulnov
Martin B. Gulnov graduated from the International Film School of Wales specialising in directing and writing before doing an MA in Film at University of Copenhagen (2014). Martin has since explored and specialised in combining storytelling and documentary filmmaking both commercially and independently.
