On her final day with Omar, the foster child she has raised with love for six years, Nawal faces a heartbreaking truth: she must tell him he is adopted, and that his biological mother has come to take him back. As time slips away, she struggles to say what words cannot hold, offering him not only the truth, but a memory of love strong enough to endure even separation.
Director Biography - Jumana Dodin
Jumana Dodin is a 26 year old filmmaker and script writer from Amman, Jordan. Her interest in filmmaking has increased after taking workshops with the Royal Film Commission - Jordan, in script writing and short film making (in which her debut short film was produced.) She has also made short experimental films with her friends.
She is currently working on personal projects and writing her own scripts, and learning more about directing.
She has a background in architecture and design, a bachelor's degree in computer science, a year of corporate work experience, as well as a passion for art, Arab culture, storytelling and filmmaking, especially independent films.
