Synopsis:
Farah, a teenage girl from a poor conservative family, goes through harsh puberty, questioning the adult world she is about to enter, as she painfully watches her mother prepare to marry a new man

Ala’a moved to Australia in 2009 and studied Media and Filmmaking at Sydney Film School.Al Qaisi worked on many films and made two short films; "Walk in My Shoes" and "Pink Swing” which made her win The Courage, Curiosity and Compassion Award from SFS Film Festival.
In 2021, Al Qaisi wrote and directed two short films, Like Magic (Funded by the Ministry of Culture in Jordan) and Cinderella (won a development fund from
the Malmo Arab Film Festival). Both films are in post-production. Al Qaisi’s debut feature
film Hadeel started its first draft in Rawi Screenwriting lab. It won WIFT Australia Gender Matters mentorship, a production fund from the Royal Film Commission, the IEFTA AWARD from El Gouna Film Festival 2020 in Egypt and three awards from Malmo Arab Film Festival 2022 in Sweden, including a financial award from the Red Sea Film Festival.
