Hashim Sharaf is a Bahraini film director and RMIT University graduate with a Bachelor's in Filmmaking and Cinema Studies. He has earned numerous awards for his short films, including the Jury Prize at Baghdad Film Festival (2016), Golden Palm at Saudi Film Festival (2024), Best GCC Film at Sharjah Film Festival (2015), and Best Director at Red Carpet Festival. His work was also nominated for Best Film by NAAS at Carthage International Film Festival. Over the past decade, Hashim has directed TV shows and commercials for major regional corporations, earning the Pioneer Marketer Award in Riyadh.
