The Karama Outreach Program aims to reach the largest number of community members with a focus on school and university students who are unable to attend the actual festival that takes place in Amman at the Royal Cultural Center. Its main goal is to expose a diverse group of youth to human rights films and to raise awareness and create a constructive open dialogue to encourage a culture of human rights within schools, universities and social and cultural clubs frequented by potential activists and change makers.
The transfer of knowledge through Art and Cinema as a tool to advocate for change and for that to be a basic right to all members of the Jordanian community. Reaching out to them through film empowers them through informal education and open debates about prevalent issues effecting the world today.
